So much is said in the Word of God about prayer. We have the greatest example of prayer through the life of Jesus recorded in the Gospels. We see Jesus praying in John 17 for his disciples -those who were with Him at the time and His future disciples. As you read you will see that Jesus prayed we would:
1) Be as one as He and the Father are one.
2) Be filled with His joy.
3) Be kept from the evil one but not taken from this world
4) Be sanctified
5) Allow His love to shine forth so the world knows of the Father’s love
So when we pray, let’s pray for these to be manifested in our lives and our brothers and sisters lives in Christ.
In Ephesians Paul prays for the saints in chapter one and in chapter three. He prays in chapter one starting in verse 17
1) That God will give us the of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him
2) Our eyes of our understanding being enlightened so we know what the hope of His calling
3) And the riches of the glory of His inheritance
4) Know the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe
In chapter 3 starting in verse 16 Paul prays out God’s heart to us – He wants us
1) To be strengthened in the inner man through His Spirit
2) To allow Christ to dwell in our hearts through faith so we can be rooted and grounded in love
3) Be able to comprehend what is the width and length and height of the love of Christ that pass understanding.
4) Be full filled with the fullness of God
Now in Colossians in the first chapter Paul prays another prayer for the children of God. Starting in verse 9, he prays
1) That we may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, so that we may walk worthy of the Lord. And
2) Pleasing Him and being fruitful in every good work
3) Increasing in the knowledge of God
4) Strengthened will all might according to His glorious power for all patience and longsuffering
We see through these prayers the underlining message is to grow in the knowledge of God and be strengthened in the Spirit and grow in the love of God so we can be witnesses of God’s fathomless love and mercy to others. He also wants us to know His will and walk in wisdom and understanding. Let’s pray that these things be so.
Well this was not exactly what I was thinking about writing next, but it is something that I think God wanted put down, and I hope it encourages and blesses someone.

Very good reasons but there is one Id like to know more about like I told you Im new to tis blogging thing altho I have posted several blogs I still have lots to learn and Im interested in the one that says go back to your old posts and edit them for SEO like what do I edit to make them better any words in particular I should add ?
